I recently bought the Citizen-Skyhawk AT JY0000-02E and are fully 'sell ' on this watch. Some reviewers have stated that this is a heavy watch, is not, however, is a large clock. I find the face and all sub-dials easy to read and my eyesight is not the best. At first sight, the clock seems complex, but after 45 minutes of reading the manual is 's intuitive and easy to perform all functions. Download the manual from [...] A4 it 'sa lot easier to read and use than the small manual that comes with the watch. Not great never change the battery, the exact time or date or change the settings back and forth to daylight saving time, all these things took place automatically. The Slide rule bezel E6b is a standard that will be familiar to pilots, we are instructions in the manual on how to use it, but even if not using it looks cool! This is a 'wear & forget it ' clock. Brilliant!
Dear all, rI only get "Eco-Drive Skyhawk AT Watch # JY0000-02E " from Amazon through WWW.SHOPGATES.COM (). Clock R rthe is truly amazing and is one of hundreds of future that I just now discovered. R Word rFinal, if this watch, not in your hand ... so I suggest you leave your empty hand. R rRegards, r rIbrahim Al-Nasser (Bob) rRiyadh - Saudi Arabia
I call this my summer to watch. I can only take this clock with short sleeves, because the watch itself is so large. Summer in Chicago is (roughly) from June to September. R rThe clock is fun and fulfilling my childhood fantasies, a fighter pilot. But in truth I 'll never use all the dials and the loop calculator. And you better have good eyes to see all the small scales. R rit, it turns out that I wear my $ 20 Timex, with a simple, easy to read, to choose the most time.
This is one of my favorite watches. It 's toll, a clock, have generated the electricity from light, and is always accurate time keeping, thanks to the nuclear radio. I have the time for the first time, then I can basically forget about it until I wear it the next. I have peace of mind that it will be precise and have power. Citizen says that even fully loaded, it can keep the time for the months when storing the light (as in a drawer). R rPros: rSolid Clock, which itself takes care - Eco-Drive, atomic radio. The rubber band is great, and I wear the bracelet with a buckle-style straps. When this clock is on my wrist, the band never damaged in any jackets or shirts. Eco-Drive is very efficient. Comes with a CD with "QuickStart " animated instructions, and the full manual. Citizen 's website also includes animated instructions and the full manual. When I send an e-mail Citizen 's customer support and got an exact answer to my question on the very next day. Rcon R : rmy biggest complaint is the inability to show for the watch to your local time, if you 've choose your Alternate time display clearly somewhere far away. For instance, my "home " time is set Los Angeles, and my "deputy world 'It is for Hong Kong. There is absolutely no way to see the day in Los Angeles. This becomes a problem when it 's already tomorrow in Hong Kong. confirmed Citizen ' s customer support, that the only way to show the local date is it, my "alternate set / world 'time, also in Los Angeles. Ugh. This clock has so much - it has a slide rule, atomic radio, Eco-Drive, but can 't show me the localtime. It really feels like a simple (and mandatory) display for a clock of this type R rOverall I 'm still see very satisfied with it. The face may at first feel a little bit confusing, because there is so much information between the various subdials and two LCD display screens. If you) "a fan of high-tech re (and have a good memory for the current date, this clock for you!
This clock is really an amazing machine. Could be defined as a perfect perpetual motion machine - perfect, because it automatically synchronizes with the atomic clock (so it 's always on time), perpetual motion, because it takes itself ambient light (which never stops working). Love it. The band is a bit difficult to adjust and not too comfortable. But the watch itself is great. It also has a countdown timer that I find very useful.
As science and technology minded guy, when I saw this watch I felt the vibrations of Technolust I haven 't seen for some time! I had some requirements for a new watch. I wanted something functional for cycling and outdoor in the gym during practice. I wanted something that showed multiple zones easily from working regularly with people in Europe and Asia and I never remember how many hours they are out. Easy or automatic adjustment of time zones, when I fly somewhere was important. And of course I wanted something that looks great! R GH have been extremely pleased with my Citizen EcoDrive. Solar energy, radio-controlled updates, show several time zone (analog, digital plus UTC), stopwatch, countdown timer and make this watch perfect for me. I really like the band of soft rubber as the clock does not feel entirely at home, the gym or on my bike. While I must admit that I haven 't used all that often, the panel slide rule is so much fun has been useful for a quick calculation from time to time. ($ / Gal divided by miles / gallon more recently!)
I bought the new Citizen Skyhawk AT although my old Navihawk repaired for the second time (the function button continues breaking on Navihawk, despite that, I like Navihawk e 's been my favorite watch for 10 years since I bought it). The Skyhawk AT is even better than my beloved Navihawk in many ways (has callback feature light, is a second-hand EcoDrive, the function key that kept breaking on Navihawk was changed to a pull-out crown atomic set every night, which works perfectly in the DC area). NOT the only thing better than this new model is that it 's significantly larger and more cumbersome. Other than that, it 's fantastic and I only have positive things to say about it.
I really have stainless steel band version JY0000-53E r rpros - looks good, accurate time, true dual time all the time, but not great heavy feel (I was wearing before seiko titanium) r rcons - can not see the date or day with a quick glance. This is the deal breaker for me. Is realized it sooner not bought this watch, the things it can do maybe great, but the day / date feaure is needed for daily functionality.
This watch has a great set of features that are especially good for travelers and those who work "in the field ". But I think this is a citizens 's Best high end watches with multiple functions. The functionality makes sense, is easy to use, with the exception of its large size, the clock is functional, Sturdy gimicky look is not too flashy or unnecessarily. R Rit 's size very large (45mm without Diam. Crown x 15mm thick) is, in my opinion, its main drawback, making the view a bit from the heavy and awkward. The size, however, make it easy to read. Below is a list of its Pro 's / With ' s r rPro 's: r Accept-subject standard 22m wide straps so you can change the rubber strap for the favorite if desired. R-200 water-resistant, so it can be used for sports and water sports idving r-characteristics of full-time (day, month, date, chronograph, countdown timer, a timeline extra Wolrd UTC / another time zone) r-Alarm: 2 Alarm World Time and alarm countdown r-solar energy: Does not require battery changes needed, this is just a professional if the rechargeable battery / solar system, which lasts a long time r-Visibility: large and easy to read online. Needles bright bookmarks, LCD backlight for increased visibility at night. R- "A salvo!" Buttons: The crown and 2 pushers so that work is almost impossible to accidentally change or change a setting. The crown must be removed to change the ways / change settings. Also the buttons seem Sturdy. R-compensated precise time: from the atomic clock radio, probably ensures an accuracy of 1 second r bezel slide rule useful for multiplication, division, problems of time and speed the conversion r rCons: r - silent 45mm x 15mm thick case is too high and feel great on my wrist, so it's easy to stumble with heavy objects. I also think it makes the watch a little geeky (OK for me since I am a geek already). But Don 't think that all the clocks can be shot in a case pack much smaller. R-Main-line time doesn 't have any future issues ot markers. A little harder to tell when a look and more difficult to realize the dark times (see below is my upsdie?). R-way calendar only displays the date of the "point " in the city not the city of origin. Must establish their distance from the city of Bethe same city of origin for the local date. This is easy to do, but the cuts feature. If people move their labels and make the window completely digital for the city of origin to solve this problem. R-max countdown timer 's out in 99 min. Why not do like 24 hour chronograph. Definitely could use a timer in the timer (kitchen, "met again in 2 hours ", etc.) r-backlight is not used in the timer or chronograph mode. (I'm not sure how to solve this problem, but it would be good) r digital window a little small but still readable r-matter is the plug, making it difficult to open up (though not ISN "We do not need much to any given change of battery).
